Our Puzzling Universe is a visual storytelling project focusing on physical unknowns, documenting a multi-year scientific inquiry into fundamental physics, neuroscience, and other disciplines, while also delving deeply into philosophy and metaphysics. Over time, a fully unexpected conclusion emerged, with emotional interpretation being revealed as the primary force—quite literally—that renders the world around us.​ – The follow-up book, What's the Matter (included free), is part scientific inquiry and part memoir, telling the story of how my search for answers about reality transformed the reality of my life.
